Robert C. Grimes, 81, of Fort Smith, died October 3, 2015 in Fort Smith. He was born April 6, 1934 in Bentonville, AR to Charles Morris and Melinda Jane Moore Grimes. He was a retired employee of Weldon, Williams, and Lick, a member of the First Baptist Church and the Old Fort Gun Club.
He is survived by two sons, Stephen Grimes of Hackett, AR and Kevin and wife Tami Grimes of Eads, TN; and one brother, Charles Grimes of Greenwood, AR. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Eunice Irene Grimes.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM.
