Robert Mendenhall

In his early adulthood Bob served in the United States Coast Guard. He started and operated Sallisaw Transfer, Paris Motor Freight and Oklahoma Border Express. Also, he was in the oil and gas business and co-owner of Majestic Marble and Granite. Bob served as President of the Fort Smith Boys and Girls Club is a board of directors honorary member. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Smith.

Bob was preceded in death by beloved wife Brenda and sister Edna Kernan. Survived by sons: Bobby (Jeanna) Mendenhall and John (Amy) Mendenhall. Grandchildren: Mandi John, Jessica (Leroy)Kimmons, Jackson Mendenhall, and Dodge Mendenhall. Great grandchildren: Jay and Lorelai Kimmons and Christopher John. Sisters: Rachel Piercy, Caroline Montgomery, Darlene Webb, Debbie (John) Links. Brother: David Mendenhall.

Graveside services will be Saturday, May 11, 10:00 AM at Roselawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
