Rodney Allen Hayden

Rodney A. Hayden, 78, of Barling, AR joined the Lord on April 5th, 2012 while in the VA Hospital in Fayetteville with his loved ones by his side. Rodney was a loving husband, father, and papa. Rodney serviced in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant and was an employee of Rodebush Construction.

He is survived by one daughter, Linda Wood of Barling; three sons, Terry Hayden of Liberty, OK., Rickey Hayden of Barling, and Samuel Hayden of Uniontown; two sisters, Margaret Phelps of London, AR and Shirley Gilmore of CA; one daughter in law, Fay Hayden; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lula Belle Hayden.

Rodney’s Celebration of Life will be Monday, April 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mayberry Cemetery in Central City at 1:00 PM all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Procession to the cemetery will begin at 12:30 PM from Edwards Funeral Home if you wish to follow.

Pallbearers will be Rocky Rodebush, Bob Spangler, Donnie Rodebush, Terry Hayden, Rickey Hayden, and Samuel Hayden.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 PM
