Sandy Sprayberry

In Loving Memory of Sandra (Sandy) Arlene Sprayberry. Sandy was called home to Heaven on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was a strong, remarkable woman who touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Sandy’s mother, Arlene Church and brothers, Rick, Michael and Stephen Thornton have preceded her in death. She also recently lost her fellow adventurer and best friend, Mary Neal.

For 33 years, Sandy was a dedicated employee at Whirlpool, where she served as a supervisor, until she retired. Her passion for her work and her commitment to excellence were immeasurable.

Sandy’s legacy lives on through her daughter, Dawn Sprayberry, who was the light of her life. Their bond was unbreakable, and her love and guidance will continue to inspire Dawn, always.

She also leaves behind her nephew, Cole Thornton, and niece, Tiffany Thornton, who will carry forward the memories of their beloved aunt with great affection.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to their dear friend, Patricia Sullivan, for the unwavering love, care, and support she provided during this difficult time. We would also like to thank Beth Woods RN, Shelby Stephens CNA, and the entire Mercy Hospice team. May Sandy rest in eternal peace.

There are no services scheduled, cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
