John Shannon Cole, 53, of Sugarloaf Mountain woke up in glory, Friday, March 4, 2016. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and play horseshoes. He was a retired construction worker. He was preceded in glory by his parents, Nancy and Charles Cole.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Raejeana Cole of the home; a son, John Brock and wife Ginny of Hackett; two grandchildren, Kenneth and Jennifer Brock; three brothers, Eddie Cole and wife Kara of Austin, Michael Cole and wife Pattie of Van Buren, and Patrick Cole and wife Ester of San Antonio.
A celebration of life will be held at the family’s home on April 16, 2016. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be J.D. Clay, James McClendon, Dave Jesse, T.J. Johnson, Wayne Hancock, and Charlie Barnett.
