She is preceded in death by her parents Alan K. and Daphana Wray Hunt of Fort Smith, a beloved twin sister, Karen Hanson, and her brother William Neal Hunt and her grandparents Neil and Lilly Barling.
Sharon attended Northside High School, graduated in 1964 and attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She was employed for 20 years at Reinsurance Company in Los Angeles, California. She lived in LA for over 30 years before returning to Fort Smith to care for her mother.
She leaves behind her beloved King Charles Cavalier, Ashton, whom she got as a puppy; cousins Leland and Charlotte Gantt, dear friend Jane Leding, dear friend Shelia Simmons, her cousin Becky Crawford, and several other cousins.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. A graveside memorial service will be held at Barling Cemetery on September 25, 2025 at 1:00pm.
