Sherrill D. McAdams

Sherrill D. McAdams, 57, of Fort Smith died May 19, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born February 24, 1956 in Astoria, OR to Ralph Edward and Josephine Sherrill Hampton. She was a retired Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer after 26 years service for City National Bank and also was the Coordinator of Compliance. She was a Past President of Credit Women of American and member of the America Institute of Banking; a member of First Baptist Church and currently Credit Manager for Riverside Furniture. She is survived by her husband, Robert McAdams of Fort Smith; one son, Andy McAdams of Fort Smith; one sister, Stacey & husband Mike Penny of Jenkins, OK; and one brother, Steve & wife Martha Hampton of Dunnellon, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Jo Hampton. Funeral service will be Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Oak Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Grant Cates, Adam Hall, Kyle Soucy, Bryan Pottorff, Evan Soucy, and Josh Dodd. The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5-7 PM.
