Stephanie Nicole Mitchell

Stephanie Nicole Mitchell departed her earthly life at age 21, on March 23, 2010 in Fort Smith. She was born on June 11, 1988 in Vail, Colorado into the arms of a large and loving family. Stephanie was a 2007 graduate of Northside High School, a current student at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith and a proud member of the 937th Forward Support Unit of the Arkansas Army National Guard. She was a member of both St. John’s Episcopal Church and the First United Methodist Church of Fort Smith. She loved life, had a bright beautiful smile, and a gentle kind spirit.

She is survived by her mother, Tonya Davis Mitchell and J. Patrick Talbott; father, Michael D. Mitchell and Glenda Woodrome all of Fort Smith; brothers, Joseph N. Lindquist of Fayetteville, AR and Preston Talbott of Fort Smith; maternal grandmother, Jackie Brooks Farrar of Fort Smith; Maternal Grandfather H. Paul Davis and Jessie of Sallisaw, OK. Aunts, Deborah and husband Don New and Michelle Mitchell; uncles, Randall P. Davis of San Francisco, CA., Bruce and wife Martha Mitchell of Denver, CO, Mark Mitchell, and one Great Uncle Robert Lee Brooks of Sallisaw, Ok and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Beloved Nanno, Beverly Mitchell Davis, and Uncle Rick Mitchell.

Graveside service will be Friday, March 26, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be members of the 937th Forward Support Unit of the Arkansas Army National Guard.
