Sue Brooks, age 83, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024. Sue was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas to parents John and Lillian Turner.

Sue is survived by her son James E. Brooks II; her sister Nancy Turner-Shook, her brother J.B. Turner, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband James E. Brooks I, her parents, her sister Johnnie Andrews, brother Jerry Turner, and her daughter Felicia Darlin.

A graveside service for Sue will be held Friday, June 28, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Fort Smith National Cemetery, 522 Garland Avenue, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
