Sydney Louise Harper, 88, of Fort Smith, moved to heaven on September 13, 2022. She was born December 11, 1933 in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Floy Mae Gallaher; her husband, Edward “Ned” Harper; and her daughter, Kimberly Douglas.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Dodd and son-in-law, Alan Dodd; her son, Bert Harper; son-in-law, Mark Douglas; eight grandchildren, Greg Heim and wife Kara, Eric Heim and wife Emily, Drew Heim and wife Britani, Matthew Heim and wife Dara, Annalise Simer and husband Sam, Addison Booth and husband Regan, Caleb Douglas and Kevin Douglas Douglas; twelve great-grandchildren, Gavin Heim, Deacon Heim, Luke Heim, Evie Heim, Alex Heim, Farrah Heim, Finley Heim, Julian Heim, Bayleigh Simer, Ethan Simer, Lloyd Simer and Jack Booth.
A private family graveside service was held, Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
