

Terri Webb McMillin 56, of Berkeley, CA, formerly of Kansas City, MO and Brinkley, AR died Sunday April 17, 2011 in her home. Terri was born October 14, 1954 in Fort Smith, AR to Lee and Marie Webb. After graduating from High School in Brinkley AR, Terri attended the University of Arkansas were she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. While at the University of Arkansas she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology and then a Masters Degree in Business and Finance (M.B.A.). Prior to receiving her MBA, Terri attended Law School also at the University of Arkansas.
Upon leaving the University of Arkansas, Terri began her working career as a stockbroker/Account Executive with Smith Barney Harris Upham, first in New York City and then Madison, Wisconsin. In addition to starting her professional life, Terri also became a wife and a few years after marrying Miles McMillin, gave birth to their daughter Megan Marie.
After several years as one of Smith Barney’s leading brokers, Terri and her family moved to Kansas City where she started Tuterri’s, Inc, a gourmet-manufacturing firm specializing in various types of pasta. Tuterri’s was later sold, and became a division of Mrs. Leeper’s Inc. After the sale of Tuterri’s, Terri stayed with the company as Chief Executive Officer and moved to San Diego, CA.
After holding the position of CEO of Tuterri’s for 6 years, Terri once again felt the need for a new challenge and a new career. In 2003 Terri moved from San Diego, CA to Berkeley, CA and joined the firm of Mitch Druell and Associates, as an Associate Trainee Residential Appraiser. In 2004, Terri made the move from a Residential Appraiser to a Commercial Appraiser and joined the firm of Yovino-Young, Inc. For the next 7 years, Terri continued to add to her appraisal credentials with Yovino-Young, Inc.
Terri is survived by her daughter, Megan Marie McMillin of San Rafael, CA; a brother, Mike Webb and his wife Cyndi of Fort Smith, AR; two nephews, Michael Webb and his wife Mary Kate of Fort Smith, AR, and Travis Webb also of Fort Smith, AR: two nieces, Mary Beshears and husband Josh of Fort Smith, AR, and Haley Webb of Little Rock, AR. Terri will also be deeply missed by her surviving Aunts: Joan Sevier of Russellville, AR, Modena Glidewell of Fort Smith, AR, Juanita Walker of Van Buren, AR, Dolly Webb of Portland, OR and Louise Webb of Germantown, TN. Terri is also survived by two Uncles: Don Sevier of Russellville, AR and Don Webb of Van Buren, AR and numerous cousins. Terri also leaves behind her beloved dog Max who has been by her side since she saved him from a rescue shelter and who never left her side during her illness.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents Lee & Marie Webb; her Maternal Grandparents, Emit & Margret Cox and her Paternal Grandparents, Archie & Ona Victoria Webb on her father’s side; two Uncles, Jeff Webb and Wayne Webb and her Aunt Pat Webb.
Terri lived life with great passion, was loved by many, and never passed up an opportunity to learn something new. At the end of her life, many people from different parts of the country and from all walks of life came together in Berkeley to be with her as she bravely and with great dignity faced her last journey. She fought hard, but in the end she accepted her fate. Her last few days were spent with her daughter, her brother, her Aunt and cousin and closest friends, allowing them to be a part of her peaceful exit.
There will be a graveside service for Terri at Duncan Cemetery in Waldron, AR on Saturday April 30th at 11:00 am, under the directions of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR.
