

Thomas “Tommy” McNally, 84 passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014. He was born October 16, 1929 in Texarkana, TX to the late Thomas and Gladys McNally. He was a 1948 graduate of St. Anne’s High School, an Air Force Veteran, and retired from the Postal Service. He was a member of the Good Sam Club and the Family Motor Home Association.
Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 12:30 P.M. Monday, March 17, 2014 at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Barling, with burial and military honors to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
Mr. McNally is survived by his wife Vera Mae McNally of the home, his daughter Susan Killian of Fort Smith, three sons; Pat McNally of Roland, OK, Tim McNally and his wife Cindy of Fort Smith, and Tommy Burger and his wife Karen of Fort Smith. Mr. McNally is also survived by his nine grandchildren; Rachel McNally Siddall and her husband Brian of Memphis, Matt McNally of Fort Smith, Bailey Cooper-Cook and her husband Jimmy of Morrilton, Dane McNally, Cole Killian, Ethan McNally, and Will McNally all of Fort Smith, Kelly Carter and her husband Lorne of Springdale, and Jennifer Mahan and her husband Benjamin of Mountain Home. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; Macey Cook and Chandler Jane Siddall, Natalie and Lucy Carter of Springdale, Courtney, Kenna, Matthew, and Karly Mahan all of Mountain Home. Mr. McNally is also survived by his brother-in-law Bobby Hill and his wife Frances of Memphis, TN, his cousin Don Holman and his wife Charlene of Bella Vista, niece and her husband LeeAnn and Don Klutts, and his nephews, Dennis and his wife Kathy Hill, and Carl Hill all of Memphis, TN.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Peachtree Hospice for the loving and compassionate care they received during this difficult time.
Pallbearers will be Hank Nicko, David Stults, Chad Upton, Carl Hill, Dennis Hill, and Don Klutts. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Fentress Mortuary
