Tim English

Timothy Stephen Davis English, 74, died July 28, 2024 in Fort Smith. Tim was born on June 4, 1950 to Dr. Wallace Davis English and Frieda Lomax English in Kennett, Missouri. He grew up in Cardwell, MO and was the youngest of 6 boys. Married to Lynn Bender English in September of 1986. Timothy graduated from Ouachita Baptist University and served in the Army National Guard. He was an avid duck hunter, fisherman, and barefoot water skier. Timothy would always ask his neighbors “Is there anything I can do to help you?” which speaks to the levels of kindness he exemplified in his day to day life. He is preceded in death by parents Dr. Wallace Davis English and Frieda Lomax English, and brothers Joe English, Frank Wallace English, Merrill Hodge English, and Alan Craig English. He is survived by wife Lynn English, brother Ronald (Pete) English, daughters Lindsay English, Brooke Hardin (husband Ryan), and grandchild Cruz Hardin.

The English family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Chapel Ridge Health & Rehab for their dedication and care of Timothy.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday July 31, 2024 at 11:00am at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Cremation and Service is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
