Tonya Jean Hall, born March 12, 1974, passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 51. She was a creative spirit, a devoted mother, and a woman who brought laughter, color, and individuality wherever she went.
Tonya is survived by her children, Katlyn Mills (29) and her fiancé Matthew Sanchez-Gallegos, and Cameron Johnson (18). She is also survived by her siblings Cathy Chabot, Johnny Sanders, Debbie Payne, Bob Hall, and Dovana Ray.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilma Hall and Jerry Hall, and her brothers, David Hall and Jerry Hall.
Tonya was known for her quirky, goofy personality and her ability to make people laugh. She loved to joke, smile, and live in the moment, carrying a lighthearted energy that people were naturally drawn to. She faced challenges throughout her life, but she continued forward in her own way, doing the best she could with the strength she had.
Being a mother meant everything to Tonya. While life was not always easy, her love for her children never wavered. Whenever she was able, she gave whatever she could — she would have given the last piece of clothing off her back for her kids. That love, in all its forms, was constant.
Tonya found peace in creativity and in the world around her. Music was a steady comfort in her life, and painting gave her a quiet way to express herself, even when she insisted she wasn’t very good at it. She felt a special connection to the ocean, to nature, and to the energy of the universe, and she had a gentle heart for animals, caring for them with warmth and compassion.
Tonya will be remembered for her laughter, her creativity, her free spirit, and the way she embraced life in her own unique way. She is now at peace, free from the weight of this world, and her spirit lives on in the love she gave and the memories she leaves behind.
