Travis Porter Reed, 73, of Fort Smith, died November 2, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was born May 6, 1940, in Stuttgart, AR, to the late Henry and Mildred Reed. Travis was retired from the United States Navy, with over 20 years of service to his country.
Travis is survived by his wife, Kathleen; three sons and their wives, Shawn and Deanna Reed of Rogers, Tim and Amy Reed of Centerton, AR and Travis and Molly Reed of Fort Smith, as well as six grandchildren, Katie, Patrick, Makayla, Landon, Parker and Trevor Reed.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery with military honors. The family will visit with friends from 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Edwards Funeral Home.
