Virginia Darlene Griffith, 73, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on February 20, 2025, and is now resting peacefully in the arms of the Lord. Born on June 28, 1951, Darlene Griffith is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Lester Griffith, and her parents, Dorsey and Betty Rauser. Darlene shared her life with her two brothers Kevin and Jeff Rauser and her sister Myra Philips. Darlene was a cherished and lifelong member of Central Baptist Church in Fort Smith. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Jon Griffith and his wife Kelley, Abigail Keys and her husband Joe, and daughter Rachel Swafford and her husband Eddie. She is survived by her 7 grandchildren London, Tanner, Mason, Ashton, Isabelle, Tatum, and Ashlynn along with her first great-grandchild, Lexan.
A celebration of her life will be held at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Darlene has been called to come home to be with The Lord and will be laid to rest next to her parents in Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith.
