

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Wanda (Blevins) Montgomery, 83, of Barling, Fort Smith, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012, in Barling. She was born September 30, 1928 in Fort Smith. She was a Pentecostal Minister, Certified Nurses’ Assistant, and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husbands Richard Ferrari and Paul Montgomery, and three sons, Allen Ferrari of Joplin, MO, Vernon Ferrari, of Barling, AR, and Raymond Ferrari, of Evansville, IN. She was the youngest of five with four siblings who also preceded her in death; Ertis Blevins, Louise Vanzant, Thelma Gardner, and George Blevins.
She is survived by five children, sons Tom (Constance) Ferrari of Evansville, IN, and Ronnie (Mary) Ferrari of Fort Smith; daughter Debbie (Harold) Autrey of Fort Smith; son Danny (Susan) Montgomery of Mesquite, TX, and daughter Sandy Burrows of Barling. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She never met a stranger, and was loved by all. Anyone who knew her witnessed the deep love she felt for her family, and she will be missed dearly.
Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday evening, September 12, 2012, at Edwards Funeral Homefrom 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012 in National Cemetery. Minister Kevin Thompson is the officiator.
Pallbearers will be her six grandsons, Hank Autrey, Chet Ferrari, Cliff Burrows, Nick Watson, Joshua Autrey, and Brett Montgomery; honorary pallbearer will be Bruce Goodman.
