ABBIE KERR, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. She was born in Freeport, N.Y., Oct. 15, 1922 a daughter of the late Louis and Mazie Kienzle. She did clerical work for Doctor's Offices in Michigan, Indianapolis, and Chicago. She enjoyed playing Bridge and Bingo. Surviving are her daughters, Kathy (James) Stefanatos of Wabash and Nancy (Paul) Sweeney of Fort Myers, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Margie Moore of Huntington Beach, Calif. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William W. Kerr. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or to a Breast Cancer Charity of your choice.
