Ann Louise Baker, was born on July 15, 1954, in Ansonia, Ohio, the daughter of the late Richard and Vera née Gelhaus Muhlenkamp. She passed away from this life on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the age of 71 while at Stillwater Hospice.
Ann was a resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana. For many years she taught students at Most Precious Blood Catholic School. She was an artist, (oils, acrylics, watercolors and gourds). She also enjoyed canning, reading books, making and giving soap, crafting and doing projects. Ann was well known for her teaching ability and her generosity. She received the (1999-2000) and the (2009-2010) Light of Learning Award from the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Most Precious Blood School.
Ann is survived by her husband, David of 49 years; her daughters, Amanda (Sean) McConnell, Veronica (Dan) Melin and son, Zack (Alexia) Baker; 5 grandchildren, Ella McConnell, Maddox McConnell, Brady Baker, Caleb Baker and Drew Baker. Her dog Anna, and grand pups, Noodles and Willow.
A Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 19, 2025 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls 8325 Covington Rd. (46804) with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also 4:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the funeral home with a Rosary at 3:45 PM. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
