She married the love of her life, Jerald Miller, and raised three children. Ann and her family enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved taking the family on annual family vacations, watching the grandchildren in all of their sports, and even cheering on the Snider Panthers. When she wasn’t spending time with family, she could be found with book in hand or playing bridge with her lifelong friends. Ann was a member of Saint Joseph United Methodist Church.
Ann is survived by her children, Jeff Miller of Fort Wayne, Linda (Doug) Johnston of Rome City, and son Greg (Sue) Miller of Fort Wayne; sister, Marilyn J. Magley of Centralia, MO; grandsons, Jeremy (Rania) Mickelini of Berea, OH, Travis (Katelyn) Heston, of Knightstown, IN, and Jacob Miller of Fort Wayne, IN; granddaughters, Angie Papenbrock of Leo, IN, and Hannah (Dylan) Telford of Westfield, IN; and a host of great-grandchildren.
Ann is predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Jerald Miller; parents, Homer and Mildred Markley; brothers, Craig Markley and Jerry Markley; and sister, Gloria Pearson.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home with visitation from 9-11 am. Committal and Burial at Six Mile Cemetery, Bluffton, IN will be at 1:30 PM. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Elios Hospice Care of Fort Wayne.
