

Annetta Lucille Dennis, age 87, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025. Born on February 11, 1938 in Charleston, Missouri she lived a life full of grace, kindness, and unwavering love.
Annetta was known for telling jokes and making people laugh, and she touched countless lives through her work at Fairview Baptist Nursing Home and volunteer work at American Red Cross and Lutheran Hospital. Annetta loved to travel (her favorite trips were to Alaska and Hawaii) and she liked trying new things including basket weaving. She had a true passion for cooking, decorating, reading and gardening. Annetta was a true gem on this earth who had an amazing love for God and every person who met her, loved her.
Her warmth, wisdom, and laughter will be missed beyond measure.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Billy J. Dennis; children, Michael (Regina) Osbron, Jacinda (Jon) Wren, Sarah (Adam) Ryndak, Philip Dennis; grandchildren, Geoff Payne, Mitch (Susan) Payne, Katelyn (Jimmy) Cole, Alyssa (Kyle) Short, Micah (Kayla) Osbron, Andrew (Katrina) Osbron, Hunter (Brittin) Bennett; and 20 great grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of compassion and strength. She was preceeded in death her daughters, Rhoda Blair and Diana Reimold; and grandson, Justin Blair.
Funeral Service is 2 PM, Friday, October 3, 2025 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne with calling two hours prior. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
