Audrey Irene Willett

Audrey Irene Willett, 89, went to be with the two loves of her life, her beloved Lord and Savior and her loving husband of 63 years, Travis on October 13, 2025. She was born on March 6, 1936, in Allen County, Indiana, daughter of the late Franklin and Grace (Richards) Rice. Audrey was a key punch operator at General Electric. She married Travis Willett on January 27, 1956 and started her life as a devoted wife, homemaker, and mother. Audrey attended Nine Mile United Methodist Church as a small child and raised three generations of loving family within the church. Music was a very significant part of her life and she always had a song in her heart. She will be greatly missed, but will shine on with the joy she brought to those she loved. Her deepest desire on her heart was for everyone to have a loving relationship with Jesus and share his love with everyone you can. Something that she did every chance she could. In her word's , "God Bless ya"! Audrey left behind two very blessed and grateful daughters, Charlene Lenwell and Donna Holloway, who will be forever thankful for the loving, fun, mischievous, christian mom that she was. She also left behind four beautiful grandchildren, Aaron (Kristy) Lenwell, Casey (Linda) Lenwell, Colton (Meghan) Holloway, and Andrea (Josh Hermann) Holloway; and five beautiful great-grandchildren, Emma, Travis, Derek, Valerie, and Brody Lenwell. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, October 18, 2025 at Nine Mile United Methodist Church, 6303 Winters Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46809, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow the service at Maple Lawn Nine Mile Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to A City On A Hill Church or Maple Lawn Nine Mile Cemetery.
