Barbara K. Pond

Barbara K. Pond, 86, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Born on January 17, 1936, in Saylor, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Della (Forrester) Wilson. Barbara was a longtime, active member of the Waynedale Baptist Church, Fort Wayne. She is survived by her son, Bruce Pond; grandchildren, Blake (Jessica) Pond, and Ashley Reed; great-grandchildren, Bryson, and Madison Pond, and Journee and Major Reed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tyson Pond. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. She will be laid to rest in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
