Beach Earl Harmon Sr., 81, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Park Place Senior Living in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born February 23, 1943, in Elwood, IN, son of the late Beach Noble and Mildred Harmon. Beach graduated from Clinton Central High School in Michigantown, IN, and earned his Associates from International Business College in Fort Wayne, IN.
He started his 37 year career at Dana Corporation in 1966 and retired in 2003 as a Controller.
Beach was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, past Vice President of Financial Executive Institute, past member of National Association of Accountants and former member of the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his sons, Beach (Coleen) Harmon Jr., Shawn (Kendra) Harmon, and Nickolas Harmon; brothers, Joseph (Beverly) Harmon and Jan (Betty) Harmon; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson.
Beach was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Debra Harmon; and daughter, Kimberly Harmon.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday August 15, 2024, at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Private Burial at Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio.
