Bernard J. Reuille

Bernard J. Reuille, 87, of Ft. Wayne, died May 10, 2011 at Hospice Home. He was born in Ft. Wayne in 1923. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1941. He landed on Omaha Beach a few days after D Day 1944 and served through Northern France, Belgium and into Germany. He graduated from St. Joseph College of Indiana in 1949 and retired from the accounting department of General Electric in 1984 with 33 years of service. He enjoyed camping and traveling with his family. He later spent 19 winters in Tucson, AZ and auto trips through Europe. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Riedy Reuille, of Ft. Wayne; daughter, Ann Reuille, of Clearwater, FL; two sons, John J. and Daniel (Kathleen) Reuille, both of Ft. Wayne and two grandchildren, Abby and Ben Reuille. He was preceded in death by sister, Alice (Frank) Kelty and brothers, James and John. Mass of Christian Resurrection is 10:30 am Friday, May 13, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4500 Fairfield Ave. with calling one hour prior. Visitation is 5-8 pm Thursday at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton, Winchester Rd Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd. with a rosary service at 7 pm.
