 Obituario de Beth Estelle Reynolds
Beth Estelle Reynolds, 77, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 at Heritage Park Nursing Home, in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born March 12, 1945 in Owosso, MI, the daughter of the late Harry Baker and Mary Ann Pease. In the spring of 1964 Beth met and married a handsome soldier, Alvin Reynolds. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter and four children that they adored. Beth loved children, especially babies and would often care for children that needed a loving place to land during turbulent times in their lives. When her babies were grown and flown she continued her work with children as the Coordinator for the Moppets program for the children of the MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) program at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, where she was a lifetime member. She adored all her grandkids and great grandkids and loved buying them anything that she thought would encourage their creativity. They could do no wrong, were the brightest and the most beautiful and filled her heart with pride. Beth was a skilled photographer and captured thousands of photographic memories including her children’s senior pictures that rivaled those taken by professionals. Over the years she created many beautiful things including her legendary decorated wreaths. She filled her retirement with crossword puzzles, great books and games of Scrabble where she derived great joy from beating everyone at the game. Beth loved crab legs and was a firm believer that a dash of salt was the perfect addition to every dish she cooked. She should be credited with keeping Russel Stover’s sugar free candy in business. QVC was close to her heart and she would buy the newest gadget to gift to her family at Christmas. Apparently, she thought everyone needed a zebra print car tool that could be used to cut your seatbelt and break glass. Fuji water was the best water, she loved a good pair of soft pajama pants, fuzzy slippers and if she found a shirt she loved and felt pretty in you can bet she owned it in every single color they made. She had flawless skin and made sure to tell all the girls in her family that you can never be without a good moisturizer (you could find one on QVC). She loved a good political discussion, hated Donald Trump and would share that opinion with anyone who was willing to listen. Beth loved the Lord with all her heart and it is that relationship that carried her through. While we will miss her we rejoice in knowing she is pain free in heaven, sitting with Al by her side, sipping on Lipton decaf iced tea while they work on a crossword puzzle. She is survived by her children, Randi(Todd) Hedrick of Otisville, MI; Patricia Reynolds of Lapeer, MI; Brad (Kim) Reynolds of Fort Wayne, IN; Daniel (Anna) Reynolds of Austin, MI; sister, Violet Baker of Burton, IN; grandchildren, Samantha (Jeff) Preger, Jacob (Kole) Hedrick, Cole (Grace) Hennessey, Emily Reynolds, Jordan Reynolds, Connor Reynolds, Michael Eller, Liz (Dave) Skelton, Justin (Kristen) Reynolds, Nathan Reynolds, Dakota (Kaylee) Reynolds, Wyatt Reynolds, beloved nieces, Michelle (Andy) Franklin, Olivia Franklin and nephew, Seth Franklin. Beth was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Reynolds in 2009. There will be a private memorial service at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital http://giftfunds.stjude.org/BethReynolds. Arrangements by D.O.
