

Beverly Jean Linn, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 31, 2022, in Bridgeton, Missouri. Beverly was born October 14, 1935, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Joseph and Gertrude Niswonger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Eugene Linn, in 1997; two sisters: Karen Sue Pennycoff, and Barbara Ann Niswonger; and one brother: Joseph W. Niswonger. Two daughters survive her: Kathleen (Tom) Effinger of Bridgeton, Missouri, and Darleen (Jerry) Nelson of Mooresville, North Carolina; and one sister: Virginia (James) Rahrer of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Beverly is Grammy/Grandma/Bev to eight grandchildren: Jennifer Turner, Matt (Mary Cate) Effinger, Kristine (John) Ryan, Katie (Scott) Effinger-Jahn, Lauryn Effinger, Tania Gennerman, Chad (Kelly) Nelson, and Crystal Nelson. Beverly was affectionately known as Gogo to eleven great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy! Noah, Owen, and Arah Turner; Hailey, Henry, Ian, and Lucy Ryan; Brianna Gennerman; Lincoln, Brannon, and Chase Nelson. Although she never completed more than 8 years elementary and secondary education due to rheumatic fever, Beverly retired in 1996 after 30 years as a Cosmetics’ Supervisor at Walgreen’s. Beverly loved collecting and making dolls, putting together puzzles, frequenting fast food restaurants, reading her bible, and spending time with family and friends. She was loved by all who knew her! Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Lindenwood Cemetery in the Bohn Chapel, 2327 West Main Street, Fort Wayne. Burial will follow the services on the cemetery grounds. Greenlawn Funeral Home, Fort Wayne is handling arrangements.
