Boyd was a U.S. Army veteran and served in WWII. He retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools after 27 years.
He is survived by his children, Boyd Jr., Glenn, Jessica, Tammy, and Randy. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Frieda; and second wife, Vonda.
A service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior.
