Carole Marie Tyner, born on October 2, 1937, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 88, at Byron Healthcare. She was the daughter of Irvin C. and Ruth (Sealover) Imboden. Prior to her passing, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Carole was a 1955 graduate of Central High School. She was employed by Essex Wire and North American Van Lines for many years.
She had special love for animals, especially dogs, cats and horses. She enjoyed traveling with her Siberian Huskies to compete in dog shows and spent many years breeding dogs.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gloria Winans.
Surviving are her son, Barton L. Tyner Jr., and two brothers, Gary Imboden and Mark A. Imboden along with many dear friends and associates.
A visitation will be held at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, located at 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN, 46805, on October 10, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location on October 10, 2025, starting at 6:00 pm.
