Carolyn M (Herber) Boyle

CAROLYN M. (HERBER) BOYLE, 77, died on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Saint Anne Home, Fort Wayne. Born Dec. 11, 1935, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of Genevieve (Schiffli) and Phillip Herber. She was a homemaker and volunteered at Nurses Concerned For Life and a Dedicated Defender for the rights of the unborn. She was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church. Surviving are her daughters, Ann P. (Doug) Brown of Columbia City, Jennifer L. Carney, Gwendolyn A. (Dennis) Mourey and Erin K. (Joseph) Yoder, all of Fort Wayne; sons, Gregory (Mercedes) Boyle of Fort Wayne, Stephen P. (Theresa) of Jackson, Mo., Bernard J. of Advance, Ind., Matthew J. and Patrick D., both of Fort Wayne, Geoffrey J. (Vicki) of Bristol, Ind., and Kerry M. (Heidi) of Alburquergue, N.M.; 40 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerome (Patricia) Herber, Lawrence (Lucy) Herber, Father John Herber, and Jim (Nancy) Herber; sisters, Maxine (Don) Scheiber, Mary (Jack) Armstrong, Rosemary (Ray) Stout, Joann (Ken) Nesler, Helene Jacquay, Jane (Donald) Eisberg, and Barbara (Jim) Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. Boyle; brother, Joseph Herber; and two sisters, Phyllis Forbing and Anne Marie Cappelli. Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Monday Nov. 4, 2013, at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 3333 E. Tillman Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46816). Father Otto Keiser officiating.
