Carolyn Louise Brown

Carolyn Louise Brown, 84, passed away suddenly August 10, 2019. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois she attended Kalamazoo College, where she met and married Charles J. Brown in 1954. Preceded in death are her son, Michael L.Brown. Surviving family members are her sister, Doris Clements of Orange, California, her husband Charles of 65 years, 3 children, Kimberly ( Charlie ), Clark ( Charity ),and Chris ( Christine ). the Grandchildren are Shannon, Jameela, Adnan, Sierra, Sydney, and Sawyer. She has 9 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and loved reading books by James Patterson, crossword puzzles, word search, watching Westerns with her husband and having children visit her. She was a teachers aide for fourteen years at Harris Elementary School and will be missed by all. Viewing Services are 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday August 15, 2019 at D.O McCombs Maplecrest Road. Funeral Services are Friday August 16, 2019 at 11 A.M with calling 1 hour prior at D.O.McCombs Maplecrest Road with burial in Highland Park Cemetary
