Carolyn L. Brunett, 89, passed away October 21, 2023 at Parkview Hospital, Randallia in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born September 11, 1934 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of John E. Snoke and Esther T. Spitznaugle. She graduated from South Side High School in 1952. Carolyn was an Administrative Assistant at Rogers Market for 16 years and retired in 1989.
She was a faithful and dedicated member of Faith Baptist Church and loved spending time with her Sunday school class and helping with concessions during Upward Basketball games. Carolyn will be remembered for her caring and compassionate heart. She had the heart of a servant. She enjoyed a great Coney dog from Coney Island, liked reading and watching mystery movies, but her true passion was spending time with her family and the grandchildren.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Philip (Gretchen) Brunett of Roanoke, IN; Jeffrey (Marsha) Brunett of Indianapolis, IN; Marcia (David) Lewandowski of Fort Wayne, IN; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers H. Randall (Marlene) Snoke of Findley, OH and Thomas E. Snoke of Scottsdale, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, David F. Brunett, July 20, 2004; sister Martha Jane Snoke; and daughter-in-law Sharon Snoke.
Funeral service will be 12:00 pm Monday October 30, 2023, at Faith Baptist Church, 6600 Trier Road, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation two hours prior to service. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
