CHARLES L. STONER, 85, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016. He was a Korean War veteran and was a retired repair technician for Monroe Systems. He also was a member of Order of the Eastern Star - Wayndale Lodge, Masonic Lodge, in Waynedale, Masonic Lodge, in Chelsea, Mich., and American Legion, in Indianapolis. He was compassionate and kind to everyone. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Marilyn Stoner; children, Michael (Barbara) Stoner and Susan ( Dennis) Erdman; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, William Stoner; and sister, Elizabeth Barnhart. Masonic service is 2 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016, with visitation from noon to 2 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road. Visitation also from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
