Christine Carol Smith

Christine Carol Smith, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Born on January 4, 1954, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to parents Norman and Katherine (Hartman) Wasson, Christine was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She graduated from Central High School in 1972.

Christine was a devoted wife to her husband Roy, whom she shared a deep, everlasting bond. The two were married on November 3, 1972, and spent 52 years together. Wherever Roy went, Christine went. Their love knew no bounds and was a true testament to companionship. Together, Christine and Roy had four children, Jeremy, Joshua, Justin and Ashley. They all created a home filled with laughter, warmth, and a shared love for the outdoors and Coney Island.

Christine is survived by her husband, Roy Smith; children, Jeremy Micheal Smith, Joshua Matthew Smith, Justin Marcus Smith, Ashley Janaye Smith-Wells; 7 grandchildren; and siblings, Kay Conrad, Janice Dillinger, Beth Wasson, Tina Gill, Carol Walden, John Wasson, and David Wasson.

Christine is preceded in death by her parents Norman and Katherine Wasson.
