Christopher R. Hammer, 30, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at his residence in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born in Sidney, Montana to Richard Hammer and Sheila Meier. He owned his own roustabout company for eight years. He married Yoana Hammer on September 8, 2015 and she survives. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing with his children, and hunting. He is survived by his children, Reuben Chirstopher and Addison Johana; his mother, Sheila Meier; sister, Mette (Randy Barkman) Norgaard; uncle, Ron (Tracy) Hammer; aunts Suzanne McDonald, Sherry Milbrath, and Kathy Aten; and father-in-law, Samuel Gaxiola. Christopher was proceeded in death by his father, Richard Hammer; and his grandparents. Funeral service 4:00 pm Friday, March 15, 2019 at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services with visitation from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to, Montana Wildlife Reservation in care of Fort Peck Lake.
