Clifford E Stewart, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on February 13, 2022. Born on December 29, 1935, in Nampa, Idaho, he was a son of the late Ralph and Bernice Stewart. He proudly served his country in the Air Force, retiring in 1977, after 23 years of service as a Master Sergeant. During his service he logged more than 4000 hours of Air Combat, and was awarded Air Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Peggy Stewart; daughters, Carla Scheerer, Sherri (Roger) Seslar, Becky (Mitch) Kahn, and Lori Stewart; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Chad, Crystal, Nicholas, Hanna, Delanie, Hayden, and Aahlia; great-grandchildren, Ava, Owen, and Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Howard and Earl Stewart. Funeral service will be 6:00pm, Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 4:00pm, until time of service.
