Curtis L. Irven, 72, a native of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at home. He was born Sept. 21, 1949 a son of the late Russell and Luella Bredemeyer Irven. Curtis was a 1967 graduate of Snider High School. He worked 43 years at Northeastern REMC and retired in 2013 as Vice President.
He enjoyed his family, friends, golfing and being poolside.
Surviving are his wife Rhonda Irven; a sister, Patricia Mark; daughters, Sherry (Jeremy) Ryan and Julie (Jeff) Harper; a son, Jim (Jessica) Irven; grandsons, Austin Ryan, Logan Ryan and Isaiah Irven; granddaughters, Brianna Irven and Lydia Irven.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Marc Irven and grandson, Jacob Harper Irven.
A visitation for Curtis will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 W. Jefferson Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46802, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
