Daniel G. Anderson, 66, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024. He was born on Friday, August 16, 1957 to the late Richard G. and Janice (Smith) Anderson in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Daniel was a manager at Kenney Machinery for 20+ years. If he wasn't working, or helping friends and family, you would find him in the man cave drinking a cold one and plotting his next action, priority, or joke to be played. Daniel loved being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, bonfires, and grilling. Daniel had a love for dogs since childhood, his latest four legged child being Whiskey Rose. He also loved his country, demonstrating that love with his time spent in the Army and flying the flag proudly in his yard. Daniel is survived by his wife, Shiela Anderson; children, Danyel Kryder, Daniel Junior, Kelly Anderson, William Young, and Shane Phillips; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and siblings Rick, Steve, Keith, Robert, Mark, Rob, Jack, and Teri. He is preceded in his passing by his parents; and siblings Minnie, Cheryl, Becky and Dale. A visitation for Daniel will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 4:00pm at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819, followed by a service beginning at 4:00 pm.
