Daphne E. Mildred, 89, died on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Park Place Senior Living in Ft. Wayne. Born in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, England, Daphne worked as a registered nurse in London, England; Toronto, Canada; and Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was an avid potter and gardener and enjoyed sewing and knitting. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 68 years, Peter J. Mildred of Fort Wayne; her daughter, Jane Mildred, of Amherst, Massachusetts; her son, David Mildred of London, Ontario; her 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Joan (Bob) Hare of Ware, England. Daphne was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Thomas Creevy and Alice Maud Creevy; her two sons, John Mildred and Peter T Mildred; and her 3 brothers.
