David “Dave” A. Johnson, 56, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born March 25, 1964 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Jackie "Jack" and Rose (Fischer) Johnson. He was a loving and hardworking man with a dedication to helping his family and friends and was the best friend to many. A football fanatic, his favorite team was the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed maintaining his yard, cooking out, and caring for his animals. He is survived by his son, Matthew Johnson; spouse, Luez Johnson; sisters, Jackie (Bill) Johnson-Shickert, Jayne (Steve) Notestine, Ann (Jeff) Barrick, and Judy (Rob) Colliver; brothers, Gregory (Vita) Johnson and Michael Johnson; many nieces and nephews; and his two cats, Rocky and Izzy.
