David R. Schmitz, 69, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was employed by Kelley Automotive where he was the General Manager at Midwest Auto Parts. His love for his work was superseded only by his love for his family.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cindy; his sons, Matthew of Zionsville, and Mark of Fort Wayne; grandchildren Levi, Julia, Jacqueline and Eleanor; sisters Janet Lawson, Karen Swygart and Rhonda Noll; brother Dean Schmitz, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen and his brother, Brian.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, January 15, at Ceruti’s, 6601 Innovation Blvd, from 2-5 pm. Preferred memorials to Indiana Parkinson Foundation, 14350 Mundy Drive, Noblesville, IN 46060 or their website, indianaparkinson.org.
