Deanne K. Dickmeyer, 72, of Fort Wayne passed away December 26, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. A native of Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late William and Betty (nee. Hetsler) Schlater. She was the Secretary of the Board for Home Bound Meals, a Master Gardner Intern, at IPFW, and a member of “The Book Club”.
She is survived by her husband; David P. Dickmeyer, her children; Brett Branstetter, and Brenda (James) Wall, step-children; Jason Dickmeyer, Shannon (Andy) Duff, and Heather (Stan Jr.) Keller, grandchildren; Alex, Zoey, Morgan, Max, Leah, Samantha, Brendan, Stanley III, Cole, Corynn, and Jackson, her sister; Elaine (JP) Sloan, and niece; Shannon.
A celebration of life will be held at 4PM Sunday December 30, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St., Fort Wayne. Calling will be held from 12 to 4 PM, Sunday December 30, prior to the service, at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be given in Deanne’s name to Homebound Meals.
