

Deborah Kay Wittwer, 75, of Fort Wayne, peacefully passed away at 8:45 pm on Sunday, July 21, 2024 surrounded by family. Deborah was born July 31, 1948, in Fort Wayne, IN the daughter of Alfred Ember and Mary Jane (Odell) Ember.
She graduated from South Side High School Class of 1966. Deborah retired in 2012 from Michelin. She loved crafting, the beach, swimming, shopping and tending to her flower garden. What she loved most was spending time with her family and being a Sitto (grandmother!). Her family was everything to her.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband, Gary Wittwer; sister, Judy (Ember) Egbert; son, Anthony DiVita; daughter-in-law; Kyan DiVita; granddaughter, Ashton DiVita; grandson, Logan DiVita; daughter, Chanin (Pierce) Henry (Stevie); grandsons, Steven, Kaleb, Samuel, Joseph, John Paul, and Isaiah Henry; granddaughters, Hannah, Miah, Sophia, Estella, and Lucia Henry; stepdaughter, Christy (Wittwer) Bauer (Jerry); stepsons, Cary Wittwer (Kerri) and Chad Wittwer (Emily). She has twenty-one grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mary Jane (Odell) Ember; brothers, Roger Ember, John Ember; granddaughter, Ellionna Henry; nieces, Angela Landis and Danille Rutherford.
Services will be held at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815 on Tuesday July 30, 2024, at 12:00 PM with Father Michael officiating. Calling one hour prior to service. A visitation will be held on Monday July 29, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Following the funeral service, there will be a processional to Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, 5365 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46815.
Her wake with be at 4475 Schwartz Road, New Haven, IN 46774 after the funeral.
