Dennis L. Colbert, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home. He was born July 22, 1947 in Fort Wayne, son of the late Alvin and Dorcas (Plasterer) Colbert. Dennis was a graduate of Concordia Lutheran High and an Army National Guard Veteran. He worked for 30 years at GTE prior to founding and operating D & M Communications. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Joyce Colbert of Fort Wayne; children, Aaron (Sherry) Colbert of Ossian and Sara (Eugene) Tuttle of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Joe and Jon Colbert and Logann and Xander Tuttle. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 5:00 PM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
