Diane Kay Cox

Diane Kay Cox, aged 72, passed away at home on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Born on November 23, 1952, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Diane was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Diane attended both Central Catholic and Northside High School. Diane met the love of her life, Donald Cox, while working one day at the pharmacy on Wells Street. After escorting her home, the two were destined to marry. Their love grew into a loving family whose legacy will continue to blossom. Diane held her faith close to her heart, attending Headwaters Church with her husband. Friends and family were always welcomed into Diane’s home with open arms, joyous laughter, and the delicious aromas coming from her cooking. Her food was a testament to her love, care, and creativity. Diane was also an avid traveler with a particular love for cruises. She loved nothing more than enjoying the feeling of the ocean breeze. Diane is survived by her husband, Donald Ray Cox; daughters, Angela Marie Arnold and Tonya Renee Crawford; and brother, Donnie Harkenrider. She is preceded in death by her mother, Marion Harkenrider; son, Shane Michael Cox; and brother, Kenny Ringle. A visitation for Diane will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 3:00PM-5:00PM at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46808. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 5:00PM at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home. Diane will be laid to rest at Concordia Cemetery.
