

Dianne M. Koch, 66, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at her home. Born on November 14, 1949 in Fort Wayne, she was a graduate of Bishop Luers High School. Upon graduation, Dianne earned her Bachelor and Master Degree in Education from IPFW. She was an English and Television Production teacher at Snider High School for 19 years. Most recently, she was the Owner of Certified Burglar and Fire Alarm Systems where she worked side by side with her husband until his passing. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church for many years and most recently a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her parents, Edwin and Dorothy (Young) Boknecht of Fort Wayne; several cousins; the employees of Certified Burglar and Fire Alarm Systems; and numerous friends & colleagues. She was preceded in death by her husband, best friend and life partner, Steven L. Koch in 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 10:30am at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2155 Randallia Dr., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior; Father Jake Runyon officiating. Calling will also be on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 4-8pm at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road., Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , National Kidney Foundation, or to the Masses.
