Donald J. Figel, Jr., 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020. Donald was born February 19, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts, son of the late Donald J., Sr. and Mildred (Grinnell) Figel. He worked as an electronics technician for Magnavox Raytheon and ITT. Surviving are his wife, Sandy (Garr) Figel of Fort Wayne; children, Steven J. Figel and Kevin W. Figel, both of Fort Wayne, and Angela L. (Bruce) Crawford of Costa Rica; grandchildren; brother, Alfred (Meribeth) Figel of Fort Wayne; and sister, Nancy (Darrel) Knipstein of New Haven. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Fondah Figel. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 4:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home - Foster Park, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46807 with visitation from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
