Donald E. Raines, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2011 at Hospice Home. Born Dec. 21, 1922 in Fort Wayne, he was an Army Air Corp WWII Veteran. He retired in 1986 after 30+ years with C. H. Kraus Steel Metal Company. Surviving are his son, Thomas (Nancy) Raines, of Fort Wayne; daughters, Diane Raines, of Fort Wayne and Linda (Michael) Ramer, of Albion, IN; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth J., Raines, in 1988. Funeral Service is 11:00 am Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011 at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton, Winchester Rd. Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd. with calling one hour prior to service. Visitation is 4-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
