Donald Lee Rogers, 85, passed away January 25, 2023 at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Wauseon, OH, the son of Richard and Julia Rogers. Donald graduated from Bryan High School in 1955. He was a US Air Force veteran.
He worked at General Electric as a motor tester for 36 years and retired in 1989 which made him part of the GE Quarter Century Club. Donald was a member of Most Precious Blood Church for over 30 years and later became a member of Abundant Life Church. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bryan, Ohio. He enjoyed square dancing, going to car shows, being involved in car clubs, and spent his younger years playing baseball and was a part of a bowling club at Most Precious Blood.
He always enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donald is survived by his wife, Pauline Rogers, of Fort Wayne, IN; daughters: Tonya Lynn (Mark) Mosher of Fort Wayne, IN and Jean Marie Rogers of Pioneer, OH; brother, Pierce (Kathy) Rogers of Reidsville, GA; grandchildren, Megan Rogers, Cobie Mosher, Alexondra Mosher, Shelby Mosher, Kelci Mosher, Preslee Mosher, and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Rogers.
Funeral service will be 3pm Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation 2 hours prior.
