Don started his 40 plus year automotive career at General Motors in the mid 1970’s. He then became a Plant Manager with Borg Warner and continued to work for various suppliers in the automotive industry, most recently with Wellington Industries, until his retirement in February 2020.
He is survived by his wife Joanne Turney of Fort Wayne, IN; son, Adam (Alyssa Williams) Turney of Oak Forest, IL; daughter, Alyssa (Dalton) Waidelich of Fort Wayne, IN; brothers Gene (Marianne) Turney, Pete Turney, sister, Wendy (Isaac) Gamble all of FL; grandchildren, Stella and Dane Waidelich.
